This sad story is similar to its counterpart "Scarlet Sacrifice" in the sense of a surprise showing of the well-known but not well-acknowledged age-old superman who used his time for our benefit and sacrificed his life to save our souls and our future, but involves a life change in the man who once found the thought of this "superhero" repulsive. This is the Gospels (along with part of Acts and other references) consolidated, so that it is clear that there are no contradictions/discrepancies.
