This sad story is similar to its counterpart "Scarlet Sacrifice" in the sense of a surprise showing of the well-known but not well-acknowledged age-old superman who used his time for our benefit and sacrificed his life to save our souls and our future, but involves a life change in the man who once found the thought of this "superhero" repulsive. This superhero is Jesus, and He's here to bring yet another wandering soul to its sanctifying revival.

"If you love me, you won't leave me." Jessie has believed those words from her boyfriend, Josh, since senior year of high school. She loves him and doesn't want to leave him. Not even when he shouts at her and hits her. Jessie's best friend, Kolleen, can't stand seeing her in that situation. With a bit of convincing - and the worst beating she'd ever received - Jessie agrees to move into an apartment with Kolleen. But not long after, Jessie is scared the worst of her nightmares will soon become a reality. Josh goes missing, and suddenly Jessie would swear she's being followed. One night changes everything, and one person soon changes Jessie's outlook. A responding officer from that fateful night begins to seek her out, at first claiming it's part of his job. As she spends time with her new friend outside of his job, she starts realizing that her feelings are evolving. After being abused for over a year, Jessie is terrified she's falling in love. LOVED BY AN ANGEL
He's here, he's always here. Watching me, protecting me. Even if I can't see him I know he's here. I can sense him. You know those moment's you get cold chills or you see something out of the corner of your eye but when you look nothing's there. Yea, well that's him. I wasn't suppose to see him though, it just happened. Now that I know he's here I do thing's to provoke him, to call him out, and when he ignores me I tiptoe into dangerous situations to force him out, which initially angers him. Gath is my appointed guardian angel. He guards my body, my soul, but he can't guard my heart from him. Yes, I'm falling for my broken angel but how can we ever love, we are from two different world's. Guarding Aspen was more of a punishment I received for being a disobedient angel. In order to receive my entrance I was ordered to keep her safe and out of trouble, but Aspen is no ordinary girl. She tests my nerves to no end and does so purposefully now that she is aware of me. It happened so fast the night she saw me I'd hope she would think I was a figment of her imagination, but no such luck. She wouldn't stop pushing the limits until I showed myself again. Not only dealing with Aspen's tantrums I was running from my own demons. Being back on earth was a reminder of everything that was ripped from me one fateful night when I was a human. I was sent here to fix Aspen but in the end she fixes me, she mends my broken wings. The hardest thing is to come though, when I must return to the heavens and leave my Aspen behind.Complete

He puts two large hands on the back of my seat and drops his head down to my face before saying "Why?" Chills filled my body but it was a quick and deep chuckle that left my throat.. "...Why? because of the God that saved me from the life i was living before That's why and i will be persecuted 100 times over for his sake.." * Ziana Carter is an imperfect Follower of Christ. Trying to constantly run away from her shameful past she takes to evangelism on the streets spreading the word... This black woman cries for freedom but Her unborn baby is a constant reminder of what she is trying to escape... Living with her both her conservative Christian parents including her sick mother makes hiding her pregnancy so much harder to hide. She prays for a better Job, a better life, a better faith. But is stuck with soul ties instead. Chief Officer Roman miller is a lukewarm Christian. He focuses more on his Job more than anything else including his faith and especially not his grandfathers will... his whole family counts on him to do his part or the will be void.
