In Velica, not a soul is safe from the monsters that roam its wilds. Only the seasoned hunters, paid in coin of gold, are there to protect in a dying warrior age.

Svell is one of these warriors-except, he's no ordinary monster hunter. He is a lycan, a manwolf, and he will do anything to cure his deadly condition. When he transforms, he kills, and the human side of him can do nought but watch as the wolf inside tears all in its path asunder.

However, things begin to turn even grimmer in his homeland of Velica. The first signs of a plague appear, and since some monsters have an appetite for corpses, they invade by the thousands.

For Svell, whose options become more limited as time passes, letting the wolf inside free may be one of the only ways to stop them.
