Aurora Evans is your typical eighteen year old. Or at least she liked to think so, she stayed up really late throughout the night due to her insomnia watching YouTube, or posting stories on Wattpad and during the day she would hang out with her friends. One night, as Aurora was working the night shift, something happens that starts to change her life for the worse.
Let's just say it has something to do with a corpse, a typewriter, and the lone word, "murder".
Aurora's whole world has been closing in around her, these three things being the source of her problems. Not to mention that two pesky paranormal investigators won't quit bugging her left and right about the typewriter being haunted, there's no such things as ghosts, so that's impossible, right?
No matter how many times Aurora says these calming words to herself, she can't help but feel jumpy, on the edge of her seat, and like she's being watched. She feels the only solution is to get rid of the typewriter... But how will that end?
A criminal mastermind makes a bold move against a wealthy client to put himself in a position to retire in comfort. He has no idea what he's up against when a young widow, desperate to make ends meet, sets her eyes on earning the bounty set on his head.
