Rue lives with her family in district 11, starving, and slowly dying, this year Rue applies for more tessarae, to feed her family. But, tessarae comes at a price, her name is placed into the reaping ball, more than the once needed, and her name is produced. Meaning she will compete in the 74th annual hunger games. This is Rue's version of the games.
