Ash is a werewolf living in a human family. He was laid down at their doorstep when he was just a new born and happily taken in. When he first turned at the little age of two, everyone was shocked; but his parents told him that it was a secret between them and only them, that no one else could know. Now fifteen, about to turn sixteen, Ash starts to wonder if there's others out there like him; a werewolf. He likes to wonder out in the woods behind his house and watch, and sometimes even run with the wolf pack that lives there. Then, everything seems to change when one day he's running with the wolfs and runs into another wolf pack. But these aren't just any normal wolfs. Everything seems to get even more confusing when Ash's wolf side starts to scream 'mate' at him.

"Bullshit." Cillian's eyes flashed black at my outburst, and I saw his body shaking to control his wolf from lashing out at me. I didn't back down. I rolled my shoulders back and glared up at him. "Excuse me?" "I call bullshit. You're hiding something, I can tell. Now tell me the truth - could this be Alpha Howard?" I asked again, taking a step towards him. He was easily a foot taller than me, but I didn't let his height intimidate me. "Stop calling him that." Cillian snapped, a growl erupting from his chest, "he is not your Alpha anymore." "And you are?" ----- Finley grew up surrounded by werewolves that took every opportunity to remind her of her human mortality. Despite her many attempts to stand up to them, escape, or fight back, the Alpha of the pack has claimed her as his, and he wasn't letting her go. But when a pack of rogues attack, Finley sees a chance for escape, and she doesn't think twice before taking it. Once she's finally made it into the world outside of the only pack she'd every known, Finley was left to survive on her own in the woods. But when she's found by a neighboring pack and discovers she has a mate, Finley starts to realize that life outside of her pack isn't as glamorous as she had hoped. The new pack takes her in, but she's thrown into a world of mates, werewolf politics, and wars that Finley doesn't want to be a part of. Werewolves can feel the mate bond that's meant to bring them together, but Finley doesn't feel the same sparks. It's supposed to be her destiny to be with her mate, but she can't help but feel like she doesn't fit into his world. Could fate have made a mistake pairing them together? Can Finley really find happiness with her new mate, or is she meant to be somewhere else? Or with someone else? Updating Every M/W/F!
