If you search up the definition of normal on google, you'll get this: nor·mal ˈnôrməl/ adjective 1. conforming to a standard; usual, typical, or expected. And then some sentence with the word in it. If you look up the opposite of normal, the antonym, you'll get a picture of Jacqueline. A girl who's life is been beyond ordinary since the day of the fire that changed her life. Foster home to foster, she's lived every life imaginable. The rich, the middle class, the poor, even once as the drug dealer's daughter. Now, is her eleventh one. One with a no good foster sister who's always plotting against her, A supportive brother who doesn't always have her back, but good intentions nonetheless, foster parents who actually care, and the boy two miles over who's always by her side when it counts. As Elijah continuously trys to get Serena to open up or let down the walls she's built over the years he learns tragic things from her past that she knows no one can forgive her for. She refuses and refuses Elijah constantly knowing what would happen if she let him in her mind, her body, her heart, her soul; that over time everything will fall, he will find out the real her and leave that quick.
