She never knew her biological father, and her mother, Lauren Volkov, abandoned her when she was young as well; nine, to be exact. She was born with a rare form of Congenital Insensitivity to Pain and was unable to feel physical pain, so she never complained about something as simple as a paper cut or a stubbed toe since her brain didn't register it. She was diagnosed with anxiety and bipolar I disorder around that time as well and that's when her life was going 'downhill'. Over the years, she was also diagnosed with parasomnia, ADHD, paranoid personality disorder, and acute stress disorder. Needless to say she had more prescriptions than she chose to mention to anyone except for the people that already knew, and even then, she didn't talk about her mental illnesses, which her friends understood and complied with. After her mother left her, Katherine and George Walter took her in, having basically watched her grow up since Katherine and Lauren had known each other for as long as anyone remembered...until she up and left her only daughter behind that is. Nicolette moved in with them when she was nine and was practically raised alongside the Walter kids, as well as the Garcia boys when they moved in as well. She'd managed to get her life, and her mental illnesses, in order just when things in her life changed once more. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. As I transcribe it here, I have tried to update it a bit and give the characters/story more depth than what I had when I was younger. Hopefully it all gets pulled together!

This is for Halloween but the story will go past the date because I won't be able to finish it in five weeks: Chris McClain sends his last two contestants Zoey and Mal (who she just found out he was one of her boyfriend's Mike multiple personalities) to the Flores Mansion, an extremely haunted and dangerous mansion, for a challenge, will they survive and what will happen between them. If you recognize anything as far as the haunted house goes that's because the house I'm using is very loosely based on two other haunted houses which I also don't own Also Zoey isn't acting ooc I'm just giving her some stuff so she has some things in common with Mal, opposites might attract but I think they need some things in common, as far as Mal and some of the other characters that aren't original I'm sorry if they are a little ooc but to me they are kind of hard to write. Also a disclaimer because I don't own total drama nor anything I loosely based this story on. Also for anybody that has read my other stories, Zoey and Mal are the same age and they aren't related.

When I first realized I was immortal was when I was trying to save a friend but the bullet went right through my heart and killed her. Her name was Sarah, and she was the only person that accepted me being immortal. You see what happened was, she said that she was going to tell people that were scared of me that I was a normal person, but she said that to someone who really hated me and that was her brother, Ian, even though he may be hot, he can be a full on jerk. Nearly everyone at school knows that. But, the one thing I don't get is why he hates me. I can understands if he hated me after his sister died, but it didn't mean that he had to tell the police that I killed her, as I didn't, he did. He is such a bloody liar. One day I will get revenge on her, but that will happen once I get out of here. At the moment I am in jail, I've been telling the police that I didn't kill Sarah, but they still don't believe me. The chick in the cell next to me whose name was Raquel said that they won't believe anyone as they have heard too much shit from other prisoners. Raquel said that she did a pretty bad crime, and she been in prison for around 10 years. I am worried that I am going to have to stay for 10 years for something I didn't do. I swear Ian screwed up their minds as he has been in prison for 5 years; well that is what Raquel told me, as they used to be Boyfriend and Girlfriend, and they both did the same crime 10 years ago.
