Warning: This is my FIRST xReader, so bear with me here. Also, the Any! means Any Gender.)

Quite a long time ago, MONSTERS were sealed Underground by seven powerful HUMAN mages, each with a different type of SOUL. This seal, or Barrier, can only be broken with seven HUMAN SOULs. They must be of the several different SOUL TRAITS. Patience, Bravery, Integrity, Perseverance, Kindness, Justice, and Determination. The King of Monsters, Sans, has acquired six of the seven SOULS needed.
That's where you come in. Will you MERCY you way to Der Skelettkonig?
Or will you kill everyone in you path?

That path you choose... Will determine how the story ends.
[There will be two books, [PACIFIST] and [GENOCIDE]. Depending on which ending you want, you can freely switch between books. There won't be much difference!]

[i'm gonna write this one first, then do genocide after this one's done.]

A long time ago, two races dominated the land: monsters and humans. The relationship between both races was conflictual, hostile, and difficult, as humans feared monsters, both for their appearances and for the great power they could possess by obtaining a human soul. Because of this, monsters were always treated as scum and creatures to be feared, creating a significant prejudice against them. However, one day, the monsters grew tired of this situation, and their king decided to start a war against all humans, thus decreeing the beginning of ruin for their own people. This war lasted a long time, but in the end, the victors were the humans, who, with great magical power derived from the souls of the wizards of the time, sealed the monsters underground. Many years passed after this event. Legends said that any human who fell into that underground would die, but a child decided to go to the place where everything had been sealed. They ended up falling but managed to survive the fall and now seek a way to escape or a reason to stay. Immense credits to Error Sannes, a YouTube channel creating its own AU of StoryFell. Without his narrative, I would have created something much more basic, so to speak. Of course, I will also create my own scenes and specific interactions, but what he has done is already very good and helps me a lot to have a direction. If you enjoy this story, go subscribe to his channel or check out his StoryFell videos; I swear it's worth it. ♡ ♡ ♡.
