When 17 year old Rosie Carlson decides to live with her father in Liverpool, she figures her life will calm down from its earlier craziness. But when she goes to Quarry Bank High School for the first time, she ends up accidentally tripping the biggest jerk at the school, 17 year old John Lennon. At first, it seems that Rosie will be made fun of every day of her life for the school year, yet that all changes when John becomes her partner in a school project.
