Diana Alb has been in the United States for seven years. Once she moved to Portland, Illinois, her whole life turned upside down. She has only fuzzy memories of her past. Her grandparents dropping her off to kindergarten, going to church almost every single day. What she remembers the least, is her best friend, Luis. Once he moves to Portland, he is about to flip Diana's life back. She has to fight through the hardships of high school and Luis is still in her life.
