A slave named Benjamin is like any other slave on the plantation. But one morning, his friend Frederick starts a riot that ends up burning down the plantation. They escape and use the underground railroad to get to Canada and be free. What they don't realize is that the underground railroad isn't as safe as they thought with slave catchers and deadly animals like snakes and bears. The big question is, will they make it to Canada or will they meet their demise on the trail to freedom.
