Who knew how many secrets were hidden behind the tall gates of the mansion where Austyn and Hunter lives. Austyn is no ordinary girl. She has been beaten and abused by her stepfather and her mother left when she was just a little kid. She's always had this haunting past that she couldn't seem to get away from. Make her suffer the way he does every day. He teases and taunts her every single day. Make sure she knows that he doesn't want her there by calling her out and shoving her against the wall. He even makes fun of the bracelets she wears; having no clue what lies beneath them. One day it all gets out of hand and Hunter finally apologizes. He opens up to her about the reason he acts the way he does and they become the bestest of friends. They share their most haunting secrets with each other and they're both falling head over heels for one another. Austyn soon resumes taking school again but she stops once the most precious thing is taken from her by a guy she thought she knew so well.

We turn around to find a group of men, all with guns, standing where we just came from, and they look pissed... probably because they were forced to run through this tunnel after us. He looks at me and I subtly gesture with my head to the second tunnel. He glances at it and immediately we are on the same page. His jaw sets and he looks at the group.
