normani lost her parents when she was just 13 years old. having no other family member she got put into a foster house. being surrounded by kids her age older and younger normani fitted right in. dinah having lost her family in a huge fire was also put into a foster house. she has been in that foster house longer then anyone else. she's very quite and is more on her self. she doesn't have any friends. until normani comes along and becomes her best friend.
