Everyone needs a safe haven from the world that surrounds us. However, not all havens are safe and the titular character came to realize that hurtful fact but at a very heavy cost. "The Sanctuary" is a span of three chapters depicting what goes on inside the titular character's head and how he often escapes into his own world of fantasy just to escape from his reality.
