Orm was on a video call with her friend, catching up after moving to the U.S. with her family. During the conversation, Orm unexpectedly spotted Ling, a beautiful stranger in the background. She was captivated by Ling's beauty, developing a crush without meaning to, and found herself focusing on her for the rest of the call. She succeeded and even asked for a selfie as a keepsake. Once back in the U.S., Orm initiated conversations with Ling, and over the next four months, they grew closer, realizing they had so much in common. Their conversations were genuine, and without realizing it, Orm had fallen deeply for Ling. They eventually planned to meet during the summer for a beach trip, excited to spend time together. When summer came, they met again and traveled to Siargao, one of the Philippines' famous beach destinations. They didn't plan anything romantic, just a fun getaway as close friends.
