Honour, Beauty & Love

"Most stories start with once upon a time, but this story starts somewhere in the middle. A young girl is left alone in the woods. She is frightened and searches for help. Escaping from the comfort of the trees, she runs through the long, yellow grass. She realises that the sun was setting fast. She had to find shelter soon, or her time will be finished and she will fade away into the oblivion.
She began sprinting and did not bother with the grass scratching her knees and face. Tears started running down her cheeks, then suddenly she stops and looks out to the sky. She opens her little mouth and lets out a cry of help, which is so beautiful and bright. The sound is equivalent to that of birds chirping on high pitch, mixed with jingle bells. So, her song passes through the grass, the trees, the birds, the water, the mountains and even the little ants. They could all hear her symphony. Every living thing took this moment to listen. In vain, the girl falls onto her knees with her hands on the ground in front of her. Her bright, blue eyes with golden spots are swollen and red. "It's no use" She whimpers and bows her head sobbing, with her bushy, brown hair falling forwards..."

In this fantasy, the Oblivion plays a very important role. It is what the characters believe in and it decides their fate. None has seen nor met this being, yet it is there. What would become of this young girl? And what would she do when she discovers a magical power which she is not allowed to keep?
