Reflections: A Journey of Overcoming Mental Illness and Returning to God
The following pages are my reflections of my last 13 years battling with mental health issues and my recent return to God. These years have been filled with struggle, traumas, and pain. It's no coincidence that when these struggles started, I turned my back on God and my faith and spent most of the rest of these years in darkness, depression, and despair. However, since returning to my faith, I have experienced a tremendous amount of healing, and my life has changed in ways I didn't think possible. Once haunted with my past, I have now rediscovered hope in my life, and the sting associated with my mental health issue have begun to fade. Each topic in this book covers some aspect of my mental health journey and how God has transformed my life and my perspective. This is the story of my healing.Dokončeno

Life experiences
I've been through my own struggle, whether it was created in my head by way of prolonged sadness or bitterness/resentment, or if I was struggling with things I had no control over like failed friendships, a broken heart, or family drama. This is my advice to you based off of my life experiences. Along with pieces of life experience advice I've included poetry and spoken word pieces from different perspectives and I try to break down life into beautiful words that people can relate to and see that we all struggle- you're not alone and we are each so valuable.Dokončeno
