One book, a flash of magic, two priestesses and a world of the past.

Takahiro Sayuri, a very normal but headstrong girl living in modern Tokyo City gets sucked into the book called 'The Universe of the Four Gods'. Not quite startled by the inter-dimensional travel but merely awed by it, she begins a fascinating adventure with the Priestess of Suzaku and the Suzaku Warriors.

On the way, clashes between two enemy kingdoms causes Sayuri to end up in the hands of the most ruthless man ever known in the lands - the Kutoh General named Nakago who also happens to be the most powerful of the Seiryu Warriors. From the very first meeting, he sees her as nothing more than a tool, an object of entertainment to the Priestess of Seiryu and bait to the Suzaku Warriors. But as time passes, his emotions and his heart that he had locked away for his burning resolve to get revenge for all that Kutoh took away from him slowly begins to resurface because of Sayuri.

Will Nakago see her as nothing more than an obstacle that he must get rid of or will his heart prevent him from doing anything besides hold onto her?
