Banished to the mortal world after serving her grandfather for over 600 years, Izumi Yamamto, clueless as to the reason of her exile, has spent six long years experiencing new possibilities with her friend Ichigo Kurosaki.   

They came together by chance the day of her banishment when he was just nine years old. 

Two horrible tragedies tied them together; the death of a loved one, and the betrayal of a family.

Together, along with her uncle figure Kisuke Urahara, they have worked to face Izumi's horrible past while she attempts to heal both mentally and physically.

Progress had been made, until Rukia Kuchiki arrived shattering the makeshift peace in Karakura Town. 

With a relit fire taking hold of  her heart, Izumi declares her wish to return to the Soul Society to confront the man she called her grandfather. Little did she know her best friend would be along for the journey.

Alone, angry, sad, guilty and regretful this is what Ichigo Kurosaki former substitute soul reaper was feeling that right now. He had no powers and no friends by his side, he was alone, and kneeling in front of the man who betrayed his trust: Kugo Ginjo. And psychologically hurt by the one who made those his trusted go against him: Tsukishima, and everything around him felt hopeless, but his will to never give up had not disappeared. No there's something in him, there has to be a power that has not yet appeared, a power yet to have been unleashed, and one that his been waiting for this moment. Ginjo was about to the final blow on Ichigo, but before he could even cut his head off something stopped him, Ichigo stopped him, and right after that something in him had a awakened, an old friend had returned, and this time they will fight as one.
