She must make the biggest decision in her short life: Does she join her brother and nurse those in need, or does she live comfortably in the peace of her own home? Note: The battles and commanders are real events and people. I tried to be as accurate as possible with events of battles. Other than those, this is a completely original story. Also, the picture above is an illustration of the attack on Fort Sumter April 12, 1861; beginning of one of the bloodiest wars in American history, if not the bloodiest.
