Alpha Grayson, a man who's had a childhood no one would ever wish for, believes that his mate is best off without him but he can't live without her. Is she willing to accept his past and move on? ********* I thought about all the obstacles I had to overcome to get to where I am today as I walked towards my sons crib. Everything I went through was worth it. "Don't worry, mommy's coming," I said in a baby voice hoping to comfort him even though he wasn't crying. My heart dropped in my chest when I saw it was empty. No baby in sight. "Gray!," I screamed loudly like I was getting stabbed over and over again. He ran into the nursery, scanning the area for any danger. "He's gone! Our baby's gone!" His eyebrows furrowed as his eyes softened realising what happened. Just as quick as it came, it vanished and he was back with the icy look in his eye. The one he had when we first met. For a moment, I was afraid of him going back to his old self before dismissing that thought and focusing on my missing newborn son. Don't worry, I'm coming for you, my little bubba... Will the angel given to him melt the Alphas ice solid façade or not? Is she helping him escape his darkness or is she dragging him into hers? Read to find out... Cover by @belladz07

13 parts Complete Mature

Keeton and three of his close friends, Joel, Aspen and Ryder, had been away from the pack for the past several years at training. The only time they were home was during breaks after the four had shifted at the young age of 13. Keeton was an Alpha's son and his friends were all warrior's sons. His father was unsure what to do with these four newly shifted pups, so shipped them off to the fortress for training. They stayed there except for short breaks home until it was time for Keeton to take over the pack. His last trip home had been two years ago when he met his mate, Marissa. Since she hadn't turned 18 yet she was not aware he was her mate. His parents did not know he met her because he knew they would not accept her since she was an omega. He went back to training and did not return a week before his 25th birthday when he knew he would take over the pack. Before they left they were called in and briefed by the commandant that his pack was weak and becoming a concern. If he needed any help to let him know.
