"Is there any way we can move past this?" He asked, leaning next to me.

"I would say we start all over again, but we've kinda already done that." I whispered. "There's no way we can move past this." Alex turned to me, piercing brown eyes silently interrogating me for any hints of lies. But when his eyes twinkled, I saw it. I saw the love struck idiot I fell in love with so many years ago and the one I'm still in love with. "All we can do is be the same two reckless teenagers. Just one's a famous rock star with the world at his finger tips and the other is a dying cancer patient with a death wish."

"Well then, do I have the honors to make you fall in love with this famous rock star?"

"It depends. Are you ready to deal with a cancer patient who, in the end, might just die on you?"

"I'll try. No promises I won't cry."
