Dear Evan Hansen,

I thought today was going to be a normal day. I was going to go out on the oceanographer boat, jump into a divers suit and a heavy metal cage to see the humongous predators that we call great white sharks. A perfectly normal day. But then, it just happened. I couldn't even process what was happening but I knew I was going to die. I knew heard the smash and the crack. I don't even know why or how I'm alive. But I know it has something to do with that long brown hair. I don't know what thing that was, but hopefully it's still there in those blue waters.

It was like any other normal day. I was walking down the beach with my surf board in Hawaii and I was super excited because it's been a while since I've been here. For me, this is the best place because I feel like I'm finally home. My little brother Finn, passed away 4 months ago. My parents are a wreck which is obviously acceptable and my big brother Aiden is also been very silent in his room, keeping mostly to himself. Although that is kind of normal in him. As I began to paddle with my board and saw that I could catch a wave, someone yelled "SHARK!". I heard people screaming everywhere, the lifeguards where clearing the beach but I thought that the shark must be far away, so I just ignored it. That was the worst and best mistake of my life, because then, I met him and everything changed.

Luckily, The universe is kind enough to give soulmates a red string, one end tied to a person's finger, and the other end tied to their soulmate's finger. Once the Red string first appears, it disappears and reappears at random. It usually appears for the first time when a person is 5-8 years old, and for 8 year old Evan Hansen, today was that day. this is basically just a sincerely three red soulmate AU because I needed it in my life.
