On the run with no one to love, as cliche as that sounds, that's exactly how Akira Kanagawa lives her life. The only person she has ever gotten close to has been her friend/teammate Daichi Hokkaido. And the only reason she's close to him is because he kind of forced himself into her life, like a bad piece of cheese she just cannot get rid of. 

Akira's occupation takes her all around The Great Nations; so much so that she's never had a home, she's never had someone that she can truly trust, and she's never had the chance to live her life the way she wanted to live it. She's always been told what she had to do and when to do it, never told to do what she wanted to do. 

But, what happens when she gets that once in a life time chance? --Though, she has to take into account that if she seizes that chance her life really would do a one-eighty. Not to mention that change could mean complete Hell, the opposite of what she wants. But, it could be for the better, she'd just have to work insanely hard at it. No one said it was going to be easy.
