Sometimes all it takes is one inconceivable choice to change the course of another person's life, the way your story begins is a prime example.  

Metro City... it was just that, a city named after its own hero, Metro Man. You live there as well, but not in the same way regular kids do. You were all alone. Just you, your skateboard, and several cans of paint, that was really all you needed. 
Every day was mostly the same, living your life as a young graffiti artist on the run, but it wasn't without reason, your inspiration for everything was centered on one individual;

The blue-brained super-villain that went by the name Megamind.

He was your idol, your role-model, heck, your entire world. You'd give anything to have a chance at being recognized for your work. To be in his presence, even if it was just for a few moments...

But unbeknownst to you, that opportunity was fast approaching, and the events to come would change your life for the better, rather than worse.

Dated a tennis player, and broke up with her. Fought a giant alien, as a giant alien AGAIN, this time in Tokyo. Killed an interdimensional demon along with my archnemesis. And made friends with a Slimebiote named Skurd. Now me and my friends are unlicensed heroes who defend the world from destruction. Mainly because it's the right thing to do, but partially to show Union Academy what kind of hero I am now. And I can't wait to see the look on their faces." What about the lives they lead? And instead of just focusing on that, what if the superhero and the supervillain knew each other? I mean, can they see behind the mask? No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing. And if you can name all the references in this book, you truly are a gift to mankind. Fangirl out.
