Jessica is on the run with an ex-nobleman, Wolaf. Due to Wolaf's strange nature as a cannibal, they are in trouble with the church, because, in addition to eating fellow humans, Wolaf accidentally ate a demon, and, as a result, absorbed some of it's destructive powers. Okay, so I'm really bad at descriptions so here's my attempt at a small summary: Basically the protagonist of this story is searching for her friends little sister who's gone missing. Her search brings her to an unsavoury location, and the awful weather isn't helping her out much either. As she journeys deeper she soon realises that her suspicions were correct - an old 'friend' has returned, and this time they don't plan on letting our protagonist get away... So how was that?
