Jessica is on the run with an ex-nobleman, Wolaf. Due to Wolaf's strange nature as a cannibal, they are in trouble with the church, because, in addition to eating fellow humans, Wolaf accidentally ate a demon, and, as a result, absorbed some of it's destructive powers.
