The start of the story takes place at the time where Nagito still refuses to go to Hope's Peak. The characters in this story will only be the ones from Dr3, Sdr2 and Dr1. The only reason he applied was so he could guarantee scholarship money to go to the same university as his childhood friend Chiaki. However, after returning one of Gundham's Dark Deva's of Destruction, he opened the door to become one of the school's hosts in the café, or Ultimates as they're more well known. When he decides to join the Ultimate Club, he gets to know those working in the café, but there's only one person he wants to get to know better: Nagito Komaeda. Luckily, it seems Nagito wants to get to know him better, too, but Hajime is too afraid to make his move. Hopefully Nagito will be coax his way into Hajime's heart.
