Liliya is on the run from her family. Only, instead of being a normal twenty-something runaway, she's now the ex-Capo of the Volkov mafia Family. Where she was once a key component in their schemes, she now seeks to start a new life and save her little brother, Lyov from a life of crime. Liliya wants to set her record straight and keep as far away from the criminals she once associated with. But such things rarely go as planned, and soon enough she finds herself face to face with a police officer as he investigates a crime scene.

Detective Weston Emerson just wanted to bust the dealer he'd been hunting down and interrogate him about ties to the mafia. But as soon as the arrest is made, he's immediately sent to respond to another call, this one involving an attempted mugging at a dark bus stop. When he arrives, he's shocked to see the mugger on a stretcher and the victim standing strong. Weston is immediately drawn to the strange girl who seems alarmingly calm after almost getting robbed at gunpoint, and decides to take his investigation to a local diner when it begins to rain.

An investigation that somehow ends with him naked in a hotel room.
