Evangeline Winters was a Werewolf, the delta's daughter, her mate was sure to be a high rank. And on her 16th birthday, she finds out her mate is none-other than Blake Waterstone, to-be alpha of the Waterstone wolf pack. But, the alphas son rejects her, leaving her heart-broken and dying inside. To escape having to see him everyday, she takes on the hard-life of being a rogue, only to come back five years later as a bad-ass, gorgeous 21-year old. But Evangeline soon realizes that things aren't quite the same.

I read the letter carefully, each word made my eyes widen until I got to the very end. It read:

Into the woods I find a pine tree. Perfect! Pine trees are great hiding places. The branches hide you visually and the smell masks your scent. I climb up as quickly as I can and watch the guy approaching. He circles my tree looking around but eventually gives up and goes back towards the houses. "Mate!" My wolf happily purs. "Not him!" I respond. "Denial." She says. "Refusal." I counter and she growls at me. "You will NOT reject him!" She orders. "He is a bully!" "He is mate!" "He commanded that kid when he could have just talked to him! He is a bully with no patience!" "He is an Alpha!" She purrs with pride at his rank. I don't care! "I don't want him!" "The one you want isn't mate. He isn't yours. He isn't interested... I want mate!" "No." I block her out and climb down the tree.Concluida

"My daughter, will never be in charge of this pack, so get that idea out of your head" I'm absolutely gob smacked, I decide to put the earlier idea from my head into words to see what reaction I would get. With a slight raise in my voice, I put my point across. "And whys that? If Tim wasn't born, I would be next in line for the Alpha's place" "I would give the title over to my brother, our Beta. I would not give the title and the pack over to my little girl!" Oh, I see where this is going, he doesn't think id be able to manage it. Right now I'm seething with rage. 17. That's how old I am today. It's about time too. I was getting sick of being 16. I hear a low rumble being emitted from my chest. I run towards the woods before the change takes over my body. As soon as I get to the woods near the lake I have come to know and love, ducks are floating in the middle looking for something to eat. I quickly strip down to only my sports braw and shorts, when and excrutiating paing takes over my body and I fall to the ground. My legs were the first to change. I walk towards the lake noticing that the ducks that used to be there were long gone. I must have scared them.
