Although she isn’t one to dress like she’s running out of cloth, put on makeup like her face is an ugly plain canvas, and flirt with anybody of the opposite sex like there’s no tomorrow; there’s something about Summer Reynolds that caused ninety- nine percent of the male population’s hearts to skip a beat and eventually, break.

In hopes of a stress-free and fun-filled vacation before she goes off to college, Summer and her small family gives up the busy city life and stays in her Aunt’s Malibu beach house for the whole summer. Everything is set and planned—except running into Ashton Evans.

Now in his case, Ash is known as the town’s notorious player. With his perfectly toned sun-kissed body, killer looks, captivating eyes and oozing sex appeal; ninety-nine percent of the female population can’t help but fall into his trap.

Expecting that this summer is going to be nothing special, nothing out of the ordinary, he continues his everyday routine of fun, adventure and a little bit of heartbreaking on the side. But the unexpected happened—he met Summer Reynolds.

For Summer, love is merely an adventure she does not want to go on, but Ashton loves adventure. The guy practically lives to travel without a destination, try out anything extreme and stay out of his comfort zone.
