Broken Beyond Repair
I squeezed my way through the abundant number of people, trying to get to the exit. I bumped into a lot of shoulders, until I found an opening. As soon as the door was in my sight, I heard Jessie calling out my name. Her voice grabbed my attention, and I briskly turned around. I knocked right into a tall figure, causing me to lose my balance and fall. All the people dancing blocked my vision so I couldn't grab onto anything to prevent myself from falling. My arms met the hardwood floor as I tried to catch myself, sending a shock of pain through my arms. "Forgive me ma'am." Someone said while extending an arm down to me. "It's fine. Bird Wings
Wren's life is about to change forever - but not how she expects it to. She had been scrambling towards a sudden drop! The hands hauled her back, but she still struggled. She didn't want to look at it, and she still wasn't sure she wouldn't rather take her chances with the open air instead. "Stop it, I'm not going to hurt you! You'll hit your head on the rock or something. Wren, please!" It knew her name. Somehow it knew her. She was going to die! "Let me go! Stop touching me!" She was sitting on the rocky floor now with her back against an uneven wall, and it was trying to pin her down and hold her still. She kept her eyes turned away and struggled helplessly, but it was no use. It was strong like a human man too, and she couldn't keep it off of her. The wings had moved until they curved around them both and shut out a lot of the light. Its face was so near hers that she could feel its breath brushing against her skin. "Please just look at me for a second. Just look. I'm not going to hurt you." One of the hands grabbed her chin and forced her head to turn, and then she was looking straight into a pair of dark brown eyes. It had a human face too. She had been expecting something monstrous or ghastly, and the surprise made her falter for a moment. He looked young, with a bad haircut and an earnest expression on his face. "I'll let go of you, okay? Just don't lunge around like that anymore, you'll get hurt." He whispered.Complete

"What the fuck did we bump into?" Damien yells. The entire room rattles. Window frame movement puts too much stress on the glasses. The lights going on and off as if some weirdo is busy toying with them, the light fixture's wires become exposed, and vases crash on the ground from top cupboards followed by books and magazines. Her eyes showed nothing but pure white as she tossed and turned vigorously on the small hospital bed, blinking multiple times. "DO NOT TOUCH HIM!" She yells. This fuels the shaking edifice more. "Do something!" I scream at the doctor who is standing there flummoxed just as we are. Out of nowhere, a bright light engulfs her. "What the actual fuck?" goes the doctor dropping the clipboard in his hands. The ECG machine goes into a wild paced beeping. "DON'T! "She shouts once more sitting up, blasting us away. My back connects with a hard object behind me. The sound of shattering glasses, exploding machines and light bulbs follow .A sharp high pitch sound ringing inside my ears caused by the blast. . I feel myself getting weak as my back aches from being hit. By the time am conscious enough the sound of buzzing sockets as a result of short out wires that produce bright sparks in the now dark room are all I see and hear for a moment, lights flickering simultaneously. Later, I hear someone giving orders from outside our room accompanied by indistinct voices from agitated people being guided out of the building. My eyes scan the room searching for Damien. I heave a sigh of relief to see him laying on the ground his head leaning lazily on the door. A figure moves adjacent from me. The doctor takes closer yet cautious steps towards the girl still seated on the bed her eyes shut. "What in the world of the X-Men are you?"

I looked down the side of the building. Should I do this? I thought stepping a little farther towards safety. What have I got to lose? No one loves me, I should just stop being a waste of air. I stepped to the very edge of the building. Come on. I couldn't bring myself to just step off. My heart raced, my hair was drenched with sweat. Just do it. I stepped off, sending myself hurtling towards the pavement.Complete

I pull my canteen out and take a swig of my hot cider letting it warm my body, but got interrupted by my sister shouting at me over the wind. "Can you take a picture of me? Before I could even stand up fully, the snow under my legs crumble before my eyes. Holy fuck. The snow is coming loose and is avalanching. I already feel my body fall backwards as the ground under me disappears. I look up at my sister whose face has morphed into shock. My body feels as light as a feather. This is the end for me I know it. I brace my self for deadly impact, but it never comes.. A bright light flashes as everything around me goes white. I wake up to be laying in soft snow with my rucksack on top of me. My head spun as I sat up. I look around and all I see are large trees. In fact, these trees look larger than any i've ever seen in my life, which includes the ones on Animal Planet. Where the hell am I? I look up at the sky and I see two suns? Did I get a concussion?
