So this is just a little descriptive piece that I wrote in class based on the poem 'War Photographer" by Carol Ann Duffy that I thought I would share with you. I know it's kind of short but it's still something I guess to try and encourage myself to publish a little more often. I encourage you to take a look at the poem it's self before you read this as it will give you a better insight of this descriptive piece. The Words I couldn't Say
This is a place for me to put all the things I wish I said but I just couldn't. These are a way for me to "say" these things without actually saying them to the person I want to. I probably won't ever go back or read any of these because it's like revisiting a bad memory so don't expect much in terms of editing. Also I wouldn't consider this poetry but it is laid out that way. WARNING Talk of depression, suicide, anxiety, and self harm. Don't read if you don't like things like that and may get triggered. I don't mean to cause anyone problems of any sort, but these are the things I feel and can't help. Please keep negativity away as this is a sensitive subject for a lot of people. Thank you. 2019 Writing Scrapbook Part 2
DISCLAIMER: Some of the works within here will contain photos. All photos or drawings were created by me or were given access to me, and they are all either photos of the events off which the writing itself is based, or they were created to represent the event that was discussed. English GCSE AQA: Comprehensive Analysis of the Power and Conflict Poems
I decided to make a book on all the Power and Conflict poems for the English GCSE exams. NOTE: This book's analyses are very long and wordy due to much information from different sources. Although they are segmented, some may not find too much comfortable, so I've linked main the main resources I've gotten and have attached video analyses from mrbruff, a youtuber known for analyses. Sources are from multiple websites (e.g. BBC.com, madameanglaise.wordpress.com, poemanalysis.com, shmoop.com), which I have combined to make the ultimate revision book pretty much, so please don't get angry at me for copying.
