A young boy looks to the sea, wishing to be carried away by its waves. One day in particular, the young boys life will never be the same again. A chain of sad events is triggered. Will he ever rise up, or will he forever be pushed down? Driven by his dreams of sailing,  he faces all kinds of adversity.

(Story is still obviously under construction, so some chapters may be better than others, or there may be lack of details, but for now I'm trying to write a base story then I will go back in and revise to add more details and such. Also that's kind of the reason for the weird, short description, because I'm letting it take me on the journey as well, so I'll also be rewriting it when I finish. But I promise this book is good! "I am destined to die by drowning. It is why we left the ocean though manny believed if we had stayed then my destiny may have changed." "How can you drown where you can breath under water?" He said looking very confused. "I can only breath under water when I want to, witch makes me think that when I die it will be because I choose to." I told him as I began to drift off. ~~~ When a half mer held captive for most of his life finaly escapes he finds that freedom is better than he dreamed, yet with both the fake king of land and the real king of sea hunting him he knows he only has so long to enjoy it.
