A young boy looks to the sea, wishing to be carried away by its waves. One day in particular, the young boys life will never be the same again. A chain of sad events is triggered. Will he ever rise up, or will he forever be pushed down? Driven by his dreams of sailing, he faces all kinds of adversity.
(Story is still obviously under construction, so some chapters may be better than others, or there may be lack of details, but for now I'm trying to write a base story then I will go back in and revise to add more details and such. Also that's kind of the reason for the weird, short description, because I'm letting it take me on the journey as well, so I'll also be rewriting it when I finish. But I promise this book is good! On the other hand, the Kingdom of the Dry Land sends its explorers to cross the endless seas in search of other territories. What if you start to remember, even though you aren't meant to. What if memories have a way of returning, and what if they should stay gone for your own good. so, have you ever wondered what may have happened if george never did what he did at dream and fundy's wedding? this fanfic is an idea of what may have happened. Sighing I rolled over, clutching the blankets to me. "But you are a lot nice than he ever was." Praxis didn't seem to know what to say to that, I guess it was a pretty hard thing to follow. "You know your safe here." He didn't mean it as a question but simply a statement. Letting out a little laugh I fully looked at him. "May we sail far tonight because the land is no place for me and there is no where on it I shall ever be safe." "But you are safe in the ocean?" He asked, frowning slightly. I shook my head. "I am destined to die by drowning. It is why we left the ocean though manny believed if we had stayed then my destiny may have changed." "How can you drown where you can breath under water?" He said looking very confused. "I can only breath under water when I want to, witch makes me think that when I die it will be because I choose to." I told him as I began to drift off. ~~~ When a half mer held captive for most of his life finaly escapes he finds that freedom is better than he dreamed, yet with both the fake king of land and the real king of sea hunting him he knows he only has so long to enjoy it. Yet he has one hope, find Eric, the only suviving member of the true royal family and restore him to the throne. Then and only then he could be safe somwhere.
