"She was just a child," Julie said, brushing back her dark blonde hair.

  "But who did it?" I asked.

  Julie shrugged. "They don't know. They closed the case two months after they found her body. It's extremely unfair to her... and me. I never got to know my great aunt."

  "Then maybe you and I can find out who did it and bring a little justice to you family." I said.

  Julie smiled at me. "Then let's do that."

  Carson Kyle and his family just moved to the small town of Lockheart City. His new Home seems a little... off.

  Then he meets Juliet "Julie" Lockheart, daughter of the mayor and great great granddaughter of the town's founder.

  Boy, is she something.

  She tells Carson all of the town's history, including the gruesome Ashley Lockheart murder. 

  After that, Carson finds Ashley's secret journal buried outside in his backyard. The journal speaks of three people Ashley was close to that could be suspects- her twin sister Abigail, her boyfriend Mark, and Jessa Redman.
