Long Way Home

That's what Kane Trickles thinks.
His best friend, Spencer, goes missing
It was her plan for 5 years.
And she finally did it

Kane wasn't surprised as his father told him the predictable news, but Spencer's family takes it too far. After going to 3 police stations to answer questions, he's on the hunt to join Spencer, but she's all the way in Moses Lake but Ellensburg is pretty far from the sandy little area.

Lost, Kane realizes that there's a long way home
And he's not risking his life to go back

It's either go home and live with the fact his best and only friend is gone, or find her and help her escape
