"You are struggling again but that doesn't mean you lost the whole fight, and just because you hit rock bottom doesn't mean you should call it home" I said as she looked up at me with tears in her eyes.

After finally overcoming her very devastating past, Noor, a 16 year old, starts to live life like any other normal teenager. But just when she thought her life was almost perfect, a challenging incident occurs breaking her down completely.....but this time, it's highly impossible for her to be strong. 

Through the northern part of Nigeria, a story is unfolded, a story about trials...the trials of Noor. 

A  funny and brutally honest story about tolerance,self-discovery, friendship, family ties , love, dreams, hopes, challenges, compromise, and life on the brink of adulthood.

That's how it went for me, one quick flash and my life was completely derailed I see the beautiful bridesmaids and the cute little flower girl, walking down the isle. However, growing up in the northern part of Nigeria seems much big of a challenge for her to be able to change the mentality some people posess, of journalism being an improper course of study to any girl brought up in a modest arewa home.
