I wrote this story when I was a freshman in high school. It is horrible, but it was a story that all of my friends got to have input in and they encouraged me to finish it. A group of friends has their lives changed forever after they are kidnapped and experimented on.

I never thought it would end like this. I always thought I had a home. I always thought I had a family, but as it turns out, my past is darker than the lies they told me and the truth they kept from me.

A series of short (and long) vignettes that explore what happened, could have happened, or hasn't yet happened to your favorite characters from You Must Remember This, one that brings us closer to the most important question of all: how to be a good person. I thought I knew my world. The people in it, the secrets they held, their intentions. . . Turns out I didn't have a clue. They lie and deceive and manipulate you without you knowing. You let your guard down around the people you trust the most, only to have them stab you in the back. Some say ignorance is bliss, but I say ignorance is death. Because not knowing things gets you killed.

If you thought you were going to get a description, you were wrong. Don't read this shit, it's kinda trash. But if you want to, I won't stop you.

It's a story about recovering from depression. My journey to stay happy after a long couple years. I write mostly poetry. That feeling of just wanting to drop everything and leave it all behind. Beware of it. You might lose what can't be returned. You might want your reality back. You might regret the consequences to come. But don't be afraid. Change brings good and bad. It will open doors and seal others. What you do with that opportunity is your choice and only yours. So, beware that longing or if you can't, embrace what is to come. For what is to come is everything you wanted and everything you feared.

I didn't wish for my existence to be known. I didn't asked to be here in the first place. I didn't want anyone's attention. And yet the same day I opened my eyes, I realized, I'm not like any other child in this world. I'm not as innocent and as pure as the other little kids around me. I'm not as vulnerable and as weak as they think I would be. Cause the moment I opened my eyes in this tiny body, I knew this isn't what I'm supposed to be. It isn't the bad things you intended to do that come back to haunt you. It's the ones you never meant to happen, that you can't bear to take responsibility for, that fester and grow over the decades.
