Haley Raelyn Crider was best friends with Mason Joseph Lee. She was 9, he was 10. One day at their secret spot, Mason goes to retrieve a ball. After he doesn't return for a while, Haley runs home and tells his mother she went for a ball and never returned. Police searched for weeks, but finally realized their searching was going nowhere. Years later, Haley is now 16 and in high school. She never stopped missing Mason and was so hurt from losing him, that now she is too scared to become friends with anybody else. Everybody else does not know about Mason. She goes to high school and everybody thinks she is an insecure freak. For some reason though, they can never go near her if they have mean intentions, like bullying. It is as if she has a force field around her. She didn't want to be friends with anybody else anyway. She wanted Mason back. Will she find him? If she found him, would he remember her? Would she recognize him?

WARNING!!! I wrote this when I was 12, so please here that in mind as you continue😂🙏 ----- [COMPLETED] Life is unpredictable; we can all relate to that. One day you're happy and then something happens and BAM! You're sad or in your element. I, Katherine Steen, have been through a lot in my last year of high school. A lot. I used to be invisible, but that all changed on that one fateful where I spoke to Mason Dallas and my life escalated from there. It wasn't easy talking to a wall that glares at you 24/7, but it's worth it in the end. Mason frikken Dallas has turned my life up-side-down and inside-out and for some forsaken reason, I thank him for it. --------------------------------------------- rankings: #smartgirl - #8 - 21/1/19 #newgirlinschool - #23 - 21/1/19 #nerdxbadboy - #45 - 21/1/19 #teenlife - #92 - 21/1/19 #newbie - #101 - 21/1/19
