the golden trio's golden years were along the timeline of my childhood, and in these books i found friends that would last me a lifetime. i found knowledge with hermione, i gained confidence with ron, i discovered courage with neville, i became unique with luna, i fought my demons with ginny, i made wrong choices with draco, i learnt the meaning of sacrifice with snape, i admitted my mistakes with dumbledore, i found pride with mcgonagall, i didn't give a damn alongside hagrid, i repented with lucius malfoy and;
i
stuck
till
the
very
end
with
harry.

because there is, after all, more than one way to say you care. and this is my way.

a tribute.
to my golden years, and the people which made them so golden.
a toast.
to the wonderful, wonderful boy and the brave, brave man.
a grateful thanks.
