In a world where Angels are the gods keeping watch over their mortal children in their ethereal palace above, peace is no longer holding the lands together as greed and bloodshed grasp control of the cities of Irekea in their jaws of fear. Bodies are found, drained of blood with the innards torn out and stolen, used to send a mysterious message.
