In a world where Highborns control magic, the government, and the "lesser" species - Lowborns - there is much animosity between the two groups. So much, in fact, that a rebellion was formed to fight against the oppressive Highborns - the Phoenix People.

Princess Alexia is a sheltered Highborn girl who thinks no further than the walls surrounding the palace grounds. When her brother, the king, shares his plans for completely exterminating the Lowborn race, however, Alexia's conscious keeps her from standing idly by while he follows through with his plans.

Alexia joins the Phoneix People.

Soon, she is dragged into a world of danger and magic, where she is not the revered princess she has been for sixteen years, where her handmaiden is a fierce warrior, where her laws mean nothing, and where betrayal is right around the corner.

Nothing is as it seems. Nothing is as it should be. And it's up to Alexia to put things right.

She knew how to anger him, how to get under his skin and ruin his perfect composure. She was a nuisance to him. Yet he soon became obsessed with the nuisance. This only enraged him more. Alexia invaded his life and turned it upside down. They both despised each other yet they had to work together. A girl who was so used to working alone and a boy who hated not being in control, yet she was uncontrollable. Both are viewed as monsters, instead, they are just broken people who can seem to stay away from one another. This is the first book of the Entrapped series. There are to be 5 books in total. she gave up for a while then realised her brother wouldn't want this for her so she picked her self up, put the pieces back together although some were missing she put them back. Most of them at least. Alexia's brother died which made her mum and her move to California to have a fresh new start. new friends, new jobs. New life to start over. Better life. Alexis didn't feel the same way, she didn't want that untill she got to know some of her new friends. There's not really much to go on because after awhile I kinda didn't like it and so I gave up on it for awhile but I then started it again and just put in the last couple of chapters.
