  Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger have not returned to Hogwarts for their seventh year. They are on a top-secret mission entrusted to them by Albus Dumbledore. Draco Malfoy, Neville Longbottom, Ginny Weasley and Luna Lovegood are among the many who are enduring the new regime of Death Eaters at Hogwarts.
  
  This story begins somewhere around the time the Golden Trio are taken captive by Greyback and the Snatchers. The storyline weaves in and out of the original books, but takes a new alternate direction for some of the most important characters.
