Life has two ways to go, it has a path leading up to heaven or a path leading down to hell. In this case, Lumi and those she cares for end up dealing with both, whether it's about family or just emotions in general. In life, those religious overlords we believe in are our saviors. What happens when your savior comes to your rescue last second, and is there just in time? What happens when you feel all hope is gonna and you're on the verge of breaking down? What happens when the one who saves you, just so happens to be the one who made you feel most of those emotions? This Lumi's own Game of Life... *********************************************************************** Before this continues I want to give a fair warning that this book will have inappropriate words, and jokes. I suggest this for people who are fine with reading books that have A LOT of grammar errors, and for those who will ignore this, you have been warned. This book will not be perfect and will need a lot of editing in the future. Other than that, enjoy the book. Love, Angel

Alyssa has forgotten her brush with Death, but David's words have stayed with her: prepare. For what? She doesn't know. For a year, she's trained and become an almost undefeated boxer, putting all of her grief for the boy she loved and lost into being the best fighter. She's fast, strong, fearless. Now strange things have started happening, and she thinks she's losing her mind. How is she supposed to fight against what she can't see? Her mother's mind is clouded with a darkness no medicine can fix, and an ancient shadow circles the town, and Alyssa knows it's somehow related to her. Gifted in ways she doesn't understand, she's thrust into a triangle of devotion and danger-an angelic protector who refuses to leave her alone, a boy whose hands have held hers through the nights, and a darkness that wants only to make her surrender. In a race that runs as fast as her fists, Alyssa must choose who to trust and how much of herself to give-because the only way to stop a thing that feeds on light may be to become what it fears most. Will she save her mother and keep her humanity, or the secrets hasn't discovered cost her everything?
