A thirty-eight year old man who was brought into the world as the name "David Henderson" dies in a car accident and is sent to hell. Pleading for a second chance in life, God gives him a chance and sends him back to earth expecting the man to change another persons life. He is sent back as "Jason Parks" an eighteen year old senior attending Newman East HighSchool. He comes across Kelsey Jones, a conceded cheerleader whose words are like venom to everyone. Jason, who spots her struggling with her car one night after a big game sees a truck hurdling towards her. Brave as he was he pushes her out of the way and is hit himself. Perserverance, love, forgiveness, can the realities of Kelsey's life awake her from her cruel ways? Or will not only her but Jason both be sent into the burning depths of hell...

She only pretends to be faithful to her religion, so her parents do not find out what really goes on in her life. Jayda wants to listen to her parents, but she cares about her freedom more which leads to a frightening mistake that completely changes her life. She meets a boy by the name of Charles. He is what brings her life to hell, and a new member to the family. Jayda learns the hard reality of what the true definition is of "consequences."
