Zikora Ezenwa is a typical Nigerian girl, born into a middle class family. As the story goes on, she, unfortunately, gets mixed up with less than ordinary situations and meeting up with her first love doesn't seem to make things any better. 
     She goes through most of her life doubting the existence of her creator when her frequent, agonizing prayers go unanswered and she eventually concludes that the only group of people she finds peace in are her family and herself. She has no other choice but to spend the rest of her life faking happiness.
