My life was going on as normal until a few weeks ago. Then everything started to change. I began focusing less, hearing less, and even started imagining things. I thought I was normal. That's what I was always led to believe anyways. But then one day a portal opened up in my closet and someone yanked me onto the other side. Now I'm stuck in a different world where apparently magic exists and I'm one of the ten people who can use all forms of it. Crazy, right? A two weeks ago I was a depressed 14 year old kid from Texas. Now I'm a confused and depressed 14 year old from Texas that has magic abilities I can barley control. Funny how quickly things can go from "meh, my life kinda sucks" to "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!?!" in a matter of seconds. Now I have to end a freaking war. I only have one question really. What did I get myself into by being born???

I'd like to consider each part a story in itself. While I always connected the characters with each other, something felt different in each part. It's a story about many aspects of our thoughts, some of which never have touch with reality, and some we see every day. You might not understand this unless you travel inside the characters thoughts, and yours for that matter.

I close my eyes. I'm not going to die. I'm not going to die. Suddenly, I feel my stomach drop and my head start to spin. I try to scream, but nothing comes out. I try to breathe, but my mouth is dry. The sickening feeling continues for about a minute, then it stops. I open my eyes; I'm not dead... Yet.
