I stared blankly at the test. Positive---Usually the word "positive" is a good thing. "You scored positively on your final exam!" and you feel that sudden wave of anxiety wash away. However on this test you can either lose all your anxiety or gain a ton either way: positive or negative---Suddenly I felt as if the world was crumbling beneath my feet, the room was spinning, and a tear fell down my face. I thought to myself trying to convince myself maybe the test was wrong, maybe I took it wrong? I took the next one and read the instructions over and over again, slowly following each and every step as I read the directions. Twenty minutes later the same result came back, positive.
I took the test, stuffed it in between my shorts and my jeans and opened the door. I ran upstairs to my bedroom and shut the door. I soon fell to the ground and stared at the test one more time and watched as tears fell from my eyes to the test; "Positive. 2-3 weeks." I don't want to live on this planet anymore.
