Zane is lost.
Okay, maybe lost isn't the way to put it.
A month after Aphmau's glorious return to the Phoenix Alliance, Zane is wandering the lands as a vagabond, trying to mull over his feelings and find his place. Cliche, right? That's not even half of it. Zane's notorious reputation precedes him, and nothing will go his way as fate takes every potshot possible at him.
But what Zane knows all too well is it only takes one thing to change everything. And that one thing is a chance meeting that sends everything out of control.
Now stuck with an unlikely travel companion with ties to his past, Zane must prove to the world--to himself--that he isn't all he's made out to be--before he loses his chance to catch the one who got away.
