Fate has a funny way of working out. One pretty face in a small North Carolina bar usually don't stick around long in the minds of young guys playing for one of the most up and coming NHL teams. But when she keeps popping around, maybe, just maybe, it's the universe telling them something.

On Thin Ice (#2)
18+ only #1 in Marriage of Convenience [July 2024] "The fewer people that know the truth the better. And if this all goes smoothly, you two will be able to get divorced before the hockey season ends." "I have the places where you both will sign," His eyes lifted and scanned both of us. "But only of course, if you both agree to this." "I'll do it," I said honestly. Minnow sighed outwardly and bit her bottom lip. "If you need more time-" "No," she swallowed, staring at the thick packet in front of us. "I feel like this goes without saying but...no sex. Of any kind. It only complicates things." My cheeks flushed with heat, probably turning pink and Minnow choked. "We won't..." I shook my head, clenching my jaw. Shivers crossed my back. "You don't have to worry about that," Minnow said obviously. "Trust me." ***************************************** Minnow Noel is known for two things: being a hot head and an amazing figure skater. Running from a dark relationship and a past version of herself, she ends up where her skating career all started. Norwegian native Søren Skejeggstad's only focus in life is hockey. With no time for women or a personal life, his only goal is to become the top NHL all-star. But when a major problem arises, he's at risk of losing his dreams if he doesn't figure something out. They were once friends in a past life but now things are cold as ice between them. Just the thought of Søren alone makes Minnow's blood run cold and he'd rather avoid her at all costs. But now an opportunity presents itself and wait...can they get along for a little while or will they end up killing each other before their agreement is through? Started: September 2023 Completed: June 2024Concluida
For Better or Worse | William Nylander
"You see that sign too?" One of his teammates asked as he skated over. His teammate hunched over on his stick so they could hear each other better over the noise coming from the arena. Keeping his focus on the girl standing behind the sign, he replied, "Yeah I see it. That's the rookie she's talking about, right?" "Yeah. I could never imagine dumping your girl because you made it to the big leagues. That girls a Leafs fan too. We should give her a show eh?" You had been waiting for that call from your boyfriend where he would finally tell you "I'm headed to the NHL." And one day that call actually came. But it didn't go the way you had expected. Being told you were a distraction and getting dumped so your ex could follow his dreams infuriated you. And obviously, like anyone would do, you created a plan to get back at him. But if you had known the outcomes, both the positive and negative, would you have still done it? Was finding the love of your life with the help of your plan worth all the pain you were put through? Would you give up your new found life just to protect yourself and the people you're around? For Better or Worse is a fan fiction featuring both original characters and players from the NHL. It's full of surprises and longing questions that'll keep you wanting to read in order to find the answers.Concluida
