Yellow is laughter and kisses on your forehead. It's the sounds of swings and the feeling of the sun beating on your face. It's the feeling of bubbles swimming up to the top of your throat and producing a giggle so pure. Yellow is a beautiful color, sad part is that I forever hated this color. I could never understand why yellow was so beloved, but now all I want is to be the color of yellow and now I'm the furthest person from it.
Violet Green is her name and isn't very fond of it, but it becomes a minor issue in her life starts to become very very perplex. Violet isn't a person to shed an easy tear but through her struggles she can't help but do so. Violet carries on and tries to share her feeling but describing them in colors instead of actually talking about them.

Our Violet Walls
Book #1 in the 'Coloured After Party' Poetry Series. 'Coloured After Party' is my second poetry series after my debut one known as 'If Only Happiness...' When everyone leaves, the night gets lonely with every passing minute. Keeping us in dilemma of wishing , making us think that the party must've gone for a little more time and then stripping from the freedom with the thoughts of what is going to come the next morning. The bittersweet time of the night, when the party has just ended with glitter on the floor, balloons on the couch and tables and the decorations partially falling off. Everything around is a tattered proof of the fun you had and the clock on the wall is the warning of the future to come. In this series, I look at this situation as if I am wearing colored filter glasses and try to condense my feelings into these sentences, I call poems. --------- OUR VIOLET WALLS Perhaps a metaphor to link the loneliness and lack of choice that is faced by a human when locked in a room without an exit door. An exit door is a choice, the presence of freedom to leave when the necessity is felt, but when there isn't a visible exit door, what is left is only the hope of it's appearance. I explore this very idea through the poems in this collection. Just that the room I am locked in has walls painted in Violet. Violet- a depressing colour but also my favorite?? You know how the sky is light blue, apples are red and green, and flowers are rainbows? Me neither. I, Jacob Color, am color blind. Ironic last name, right? So the world to me is brown, black, white, and grey. Just like my personality, boring and ... grey. Today I met a girl who has a VERY colorful personality. I don't know what to do with her. ~This book is currently finished but is ongoing for editing and changes~ I continue to look at him and his dark, blue eyes were burning through me, maintaining contact with mine as they didn't dare move away. He sure knows how to hold contact. My body was burning, every inch of it, I could feel it. It was getting way too warm in here. This man was making me feel things I didn't even know that was capable. I needed him. I certainly wanted him. I watched his gaze move down onto my lips as he pulls his bottom lip between his teeth. I didn't even notice how close he was to me until he stepped forward, closing the gap between us. I'm also baring in mind that my brother and his friends are literally right next door and here we are, being this extremely close to each other. That's what makes this even more nerve racking. One hand was holding my hip and his other hand was secured on my thigh, preventing me from falling down from the counter, his nose beginning to lightly touch the tip of mine as he lowered his forehead closer to me. The low part of my belly was aching him. I wanted him to do something. To fulfil my needs. I don't know where the hell the courage came from as the next two words fell out of me.
